Walk 11 – Castell Coch
26 May 2002
Minor change: Getting there, you turn right at the Lewis Arms pub into Mill Road, not Lewis street. (I must have spent too long in the pub!)
5 October 2002
The gate and stile at Point O is on the left. The map shows it correctly but my text puts it on the right!
At the end of the walk, the equestrian centre has been tidied up and the stile giving access to the lane has gone. At the moment, you just walk through the centre (keeping left) to reach the lane. Doubtless, a gate will soon be in place.
Thanks to Matthew Kendall for the above information.
26 June 2006
The overgrowth around the derelict building at point M has been cut back and the waymark has been reinstated.

Page 71 (1st edition); page 77 (2nd edition); page 64 (3rd edition). 1st line: 'Woodland Trail' sign has gone, but signposted 'Taff Trail' here and for the early parts of the walk.
Page 72 (1st edition); page 78 (2nd edition); page 65 (3rd edition). After point B, the gates for the right turn off the Taff Trail can't be missed and are now both wooden kissing gates; the bracken is now under control with a good path through it.
Page 73 (1st edition); page 79 (2nd edition); page 66 (3rd edition). The old white painted gate before point G is now a new kissing gate.
There is another good pub called the 'Black Cock Inn' - about 400 metres by road south of both points F and G.
Thanks to Bob Hewett for the information
