Walk 6 – Three Sodburys
7 June 2010 (part of the WWA e-book revision)
Most stiles on this route have been replaces by a mixture of gates/kissing gates.
Page 28, para 4, line 1:
Go right, then turn left onto a wooded path Point D alongside the school boundary wall, waymarked Cotswold Way. Pass through two kissing gates keeping the fence on the left to reach a further gate. Go through…
Page 28, last line:
Exit from the hill fort:
The Cotswold Way has been diverted on exit from the hill fort by the buttressed farm buildings. Follow Cotswold Way descending half left with the farm buildings on your right. Turn left descending on a wooded path to reach fence ahead with barn on your right. Go through gate crossing small orchard to next gate and exit onto the road.
(Note: This is another diversion on the Cotswold Way).
After Point G the stile has been replaced by two gates giving access to the farmyard.
Continue through the yard, barn on your left exiting via a gate in the right hand corner. All stiles from this point to the footbridge have been replaced by gates.
