Walk 13 – Tintern
8 June 2010 (part of the WWA e-book revision)
From Point C, the waymarks are missing until you are on the Dyke, before Devil’s Pulpit. The route remains the same though, always climbing. At the top of the steps you are on Offa’s Dyke. The barbed wire fence mentioned in the text is there but indistict, but the old moss covered wall seems to have gone.
There is now a metal kissing gate at the path junction beyond the Devils Pulpit and a new wooden sign post with directions to Brockwier, Tintern and St. Braivels.
After Point H, you climb the stile then turn left downhill, at the next Offas Dyke acorn sign (situated adjacent to the next corner of the field). There are no Rights of Way arrows from the Dyke until the second gate at the Horses & Ponies Association.
HAPPA is a good spot for refreshments, they now open 11-4 Daily all year and they will become an official Tourist Information Centre in the
near future.
Thanks to Chris Bracey for the information

Gloucester Council have announced temporary footpath closures around the Devil's Pulpit area, which affects the walk between Points E & G. No date given for reopening, so any information welcome.
